Working directly with The Eye Wearhouse, Elan Construction delivered a new optometry clinic designed to support the next phase of growth for a family-owned business expanding into a more urban market.

Completed in December 2025, this ~1,500 sq. ft. tenant improvement was delivered through a design-build approach, allowing close collaboration with the owner-operators from early planning through to final turnover.

As an optometry clinic, the space needed to strike a careful balance. Clean, modern aesthetics paired with highly functional clinical spaces. Partnering with TI Studios on architectural design and Embe on mechanical and electrical engineering, the team worked closely with the client to ensure every detail supported both patient experience and day-to-day operations.

This new location enables the Eye Wearhouse team to grow beyond their original family-owned clinic in Olds, Alberta, while maintaining a strong connection to their roots. Seeing the clients walk the site throughout construction, watching their vision take shape, was a highlight for everyone involved.

The result is a thoughtfully designed space that reflects the brand, supports long-term growth, and sets the foundation for the next generation of the business.
