Building Stronger Communities Beyond the Job Site
Building stronger communities extends beyond the projects we deliver.
This summer, our team had the opportunity to support several organizations making a meaningful impact across Alberta. Investing in people, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for others.
Supporting the Next Generation of Skilled Trades
Elan proudly sponsored the Calgary Construction Association Education Fund Golf Tournament, dedicated to developing the future of Alberta's construction industry.
For more than 25 years, the CCA Education Fund has provided scholarships, bursaries, and workforce development initiatives that help students and apprentices pursue careers in the skilled trades.
Every skilled tradesperson starts somewhere. Supporting organizations like the CCA Education Fund helps ensure the next generation has the opportunity to build rewarding careers while strengthening our industry for years to come.
This year, with the incredible support of our partners, trades, developers, architects, and friends across the industry, we’ve raised over $18,950 for Movember—and the total is still climbing. We’re grateful for every person that showed up, donated, grew a moustache, or helped spread the word. We hope these efforts will also create more conversations, support systems, early interventions, and real impact for the people who need it most.
We love being a part of this community of like-minded builders, trades, developers, consultants, and architects. When we rally behind a cause, we do it together. That’s what makes this industry special, and it’s why Movember continues to be such a meaningful initiative for us.
Creating Stronger Industry Connections
Elan was also proud to support the annual CREW Calgary Golf Tournament.
CREW Calgary is helping shape a stronger commercial real estate industry by advancing leadership, mentorship, and professional opportunities for women while creating a more connected and inclusive industry for everyone.
Strong projects are built on strong relationships. Organizations like CREW Calgary create opportunities for those relationships to grow while supporting the future of our industry.
Community Matters
Whether we're helping build careers, supporting families, or investing in professional development, these organizations remind us that strong communities don't happen by accident.
They happen when people choose to get involved. And they get built, piece by piece.
We're grateful to play a small role in supporting their work and encourage others to do the same.
